The Chair of Business and Humanism of the University of Valencia has created the Map of Sustainable Finance in the Valencian Community, an interactive tool that aims to give visibility to those entities that work for sustainability in the world of finance. The Map, which can now be consulted here, allows you to view the different entities according to their typology (for example, universities and research groups, companies or foundations) while offering a brief description of the entities, how to contact them, their social networks and the location of their headquarters on a dynamic map.
This project is aligned with the objectives pursued by the Chair as a space for shared reflection between the Public Administration, the University and society. In this sense, the Map is a digital resource, simple, which allows the user to know those entities that, in their daily activity, are directly or indirectly related to sustainable finance.
However, the Chair aims to enhance the sustainable finance, that is, those in which the following are addressed: environmental, social and governance criteria when making investment decisions, beyond the strictly economic, thus contributing to a A more ethical approach to the financial worldIn this way, the Chair channels a growing interest in society for this type of sustainable financial products, weaving a network of key actors - from academia to the business ecosystem - that intervene in the commercialization, awareness-raising or study of the phenomenon.
