Last Wednesday, September 20, the Entrepreneurship Center of the city of Alicante held the Conference on 'Social Responsibility: The Path to Sustainability', organized by the Nova Feina Foundation and which was attended by the Chair of Business and Humanism of the University of Valencia.
The Conference was aimed at companies, entities, self-employed persons and entrepreneurs interested in learning about the latest developments and procedures to become part of the Registry of Socially Responsible Valencian Entities (REVSR), a public record of the Generalitat Valenciana, where all companies and entities that meet the criteria of social and environmental commitment are registered.
The Chair has been represented at the event by Pau Sendra-Pons, professor at the UV and researcher at the CEiH, who gave the presentation 'Socially Responsible Entities: Registration and Other Tools', which discussed sustainability regulations in Europe, Spain, and the Valencian Community, emphasizing the REVSR, its main features, and the advantages it offers to companies.
The event was also attended by important experts from the business and sustainability sectors such as Mauro Colomina Soler, Corporate Social Responsibility Technician and Auditor at EQA (European Quality Assurance), Miguel Ángel Honrubia Arlandis, Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship Technician at Fundació Nova Feina - Valencia, and Javier Pérez Madolell, Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship Technician at Fundació Nova Feina - Alicante.
