On October 4th, the following day, the Law school of the University of Valencia, the eighth edition of the Conference on transparency and good governance in SMEs organized by the PAGODA Chair, of Citizen Participation Open Government, OPEN DATA of the IIDL in which the Institute of Research in Social Economy, Cooperativism and Entrepreneurship at the University of Valencia.
This conference will address transparency and good governance from the perspective of social entrepreneurship, and in particular, entrepreneurship with values, from a dual perspective: first, from social entrepreneurship and its direct application to socially responsible rural entrepreneurship, where the role of local public administrations prevails in promoting initiatives and in the much-needed public-private collaboration through social economy entities; and second, good practices in entrepreneurship through concrete experiences:
- NovaFeina Foundation: non-profit social entity with 35 years of experience in the social and labor integration of people in vulnerable situations.
- Novaterra Foundation: A foundation dedicated to the social and labor integration of people through employability development, job placement and creation, and raising awareness about situations of exclusion.
- Association With Values: An association dedicated to supporting social entrepreneurship by training and mentoring people at risk of social exclusion in creating their own livelihoods. These projects aim to achieve economic viability while respecting people and the environment.
- SocialNest Foundation: global platform that provides resources, opportunities, and personalized guidance to entrepreneurs.
- Chair of Business and Humanism: Whose purpose focuses on two lines of action: the promotion and development of social responsibility and sustainability in companies, and their digital transformation.
