Professor of business management since 1996, his research in recent years has focused on the creation and development of structures that facilitate social innovation. He has developed value innovation workshops for different master's degrees with management teams from various companies.
He has published more than 60 articles and books in international journals.
He has worked in a variety of fields ranging from Quality Management and Organizational Design in the late 1990s and early 2000s, to sustainability and digital transformation today.
Since 2017 he has been the director of the Chair of Business and Humanism at the University of Valencia.
He holds a degree in International Business (Extraordinary Award), a Master's degree in Corporate Finance (Extraordinary Award), and a PhD in Accounting and Corporate Finance (Extraordinary Award). He has been a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science (London, United Kingdom) and at the Royal Complutense College of the Harvard University (Boston, United States). In 2019 he won the Cañada Blanch Foundation Award with the project "Human decision making and heuristics under financial risk and competition: herding behavior in crowdfunding platforms» and, in 2022, the Emilio Soldevilla Foundation Award for the best research in finance. He has participated in numerous projects related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability in higher education. He has published articles in journals such as European Research on Management and Business Economics, Service Business either Review of Managerial ScienceHe has been a research associate at the Chair since 2022.
Graduated in International Business from the University of Valencia and Nottingham Trent University, with a Master's degree in Business Strategy from the University of Valencia. Currently, she is enrolled in the Doctorate in Social Economy at the same university, taught by IUDESCOOP. Her academic and professional career stands out in areas such as corporate sustainability and digital transformation, with research experience acquired through a Collaboration Grant from the Ministry of Education. Her goal is to delve deeper into the impact of sustainability on family businesses and contribute to the development of knowledge in this field.
He is Principal Investigator of the COSME Research Group "Competitiveness Observatory - Small and Medium Enterprises" at UNIR. Member of the Research Committee of FAEDPYME (Foundation for Strategic Analysis and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises). Member of the research team focused on MSMEs at the Newman Graduate School (Peru). Coordinator of the FAEDPYME Report in Peru. And collaborating researcher in: “The Elite Quality Index®”, promoted by the Foundation for Value Creation (Switzerland).
In parallel, he works as a financial and senior management advisor (business groups, company purchases and sales, debt restructuring, viability plans and company reorganization), as well as a forensic economist-REFor-CGCE.

Julennys has developed her professional career as a university professor and research coordinator at universities in Venezuela and has held positions as a medical physicist in health centers and private companies. She is currently pursuing an industrial doctorate in the areas of digital transformation and sustainability.
