The Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Employment has opened a call for applications for aid to promote the sustainable economy in the Valencian Community for the year 2023 (published in the DOGV number 9544 / 01.03.2023).
As highlighted by the Ministry, the purpose of this resolution is to call for certain aid, in competitive concurrence, aimed at promoting the sustainable economy through the financing of actions to promote and disseminate the culture and practices of the sustainable economy, social responsibility and the economy of the common good, the implementation and promotion of certain sustainable development goals (SDGs) and social responsibility in SMEs in the Valencian Community carried out during the 2023 financial year.

Beneficiaries
- Associations, foundations, and other non-profit entities and organizations whose goals include promoting and fostering principles related to the Sustainable Economy, corporate social responsibility, non-financial and sustainability reporting in the economic model, and the Common Good Economy (CGE).
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with its own legal personality that carry out actions linked to the implementation of the culture and practice of the social enterprise and the Sustainable Economy and the Economy of the Common Good (EBC), and that have at least one full-time salaried employee with more than one year's seniority.
- Specialized university centers, institutes, and entities that carry out research and specialized training activities in matters related to the Sustainable Economy, social enterprise, or the Economy for the Common Good (EBC), whether they have their own legal personality or are dependent on or affiliated with a university.
- The Territorial Pacts for Employment and Local Development of the Valencian Community that are recognized as such by the Generalitat Valenciana.
Eligible actions
- Activities carried out by associations, foundations, and other non-profit entities and organizations for the training, promotion, and dissemination of the culture and practices of socially responsible entities, the promotion of social responsibility, specifically activities to promote sustainability (reporting, methodologies, legislation, etc.).
- SME actions related to the preparation and implementation of a sustainability report that contributes to measuring, monitoring and managing the performance of companies and their impact on society, allowing the measurement of the ethical success of the organization and its contribution to the common good, such as the Common Good Balance Sheet, social responsibility report, non-financial statement or other similar tools. These actions will be subject to the request in the Registry of Socially Responsible Valencian Entities
- Basic research activities on Sustainable Economy, the Economy of the Common Good, socially responsible enterprise and social innovation, as well as those aimed at promoting applied research in these areas carried out by specialized centers, institutes and university entities,
- Training and dissemination activities on tools for the development, promotion, and implementation of Social Responsibility and information on sustainability carried out by Territorial Pacts and Agreements for the occupation and local development of the Valencian Community.
Amount of aid
Aid can reach up to 100% of eligible expenses, with the following limits for SMEs based on the number of employees:
- Between 1 and 3 salaried employees: 500 euros
- Between 4 and 9 salaried employees: 1,500 euros
- Between 10 and 25 salaried employees: 4,000 euros
- More than 25 salaried people: 5,000 euros
To obtain accreditation, SMEs must submit, along with their application, a "Report on the Average Number of Active Employees in 2022," issued by the General Treasury of Social Security.
Applications and documents
The procedure will be processed electronically, accessing the catalogue of Interactive Public Services of the Generalitat and the corresponding service will be selected, and the applicant must have any of the electronic signature systems accepted at the Generalitat Headquarters.
