On May 10, the presentation ceremony for the 1st edition of the awards for the best Master's Thesis (TFM) and Degree Thesis (TFG) on sustainability was held at the Rectorate of the University of Valencia.
Cátedra de Empresa y Humanismo (CEiH) is collaborating in the initiative, which is promoted by TÜV SÜD and seeks to promote research among students at the University of Valencia and foster their interest in sustainability through master's and degree final projects.
With these awards, we seek to position and strengthen the University of Valencia as a backbone of the most advanced knowledge, as well as to motivate students to research sustainability. The meeting with those responsible for TÜV SÜD was an opportunity to strengthen ties of collaboration with the business community and, in particular, with a leading company with a global presence and reach and more than 150 years of experience in the sector.
Scholarships in sustainability
Participants will be eligible to win a scholarship for a Master's Degree in Sustainability & ESG, valued at €5,950, or 3 scholarships for Expert Programs in the area of Sustainability from TÜV SÜD ACADEMY, each valued at €2,900.
The presentation ceremony was attended by Tomás González, the director of Cátedra de Empresa y Humanismo, as well as Rosa Donat, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer, and Pilar Serra, Vice-Rector for Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Living. TÜV SÜD Valencia was represented by Irene Huguet, Business Unit Manager of TÜV SÜD Academy, and Guillermo Pérez, Key Account Manager of the company.
