The Chair of Business and Humanism (CEIH-UV) is an entity affiliated with the University of Valencia. In order to carry out its functions, it is required to process personal data of those persons who interact with it, whether to carry out training activities, participate in its activities or receive information. This document is intended to inform all those who wish to do so about the policy employed by CEIH-UV when collecting and processing personal data.

Purpose of the Treatment
CEIH-UV collects personal data for the following purposes:
General contact: Respond to requests for information about the services offered by the Chair, based on the legitimate interest of the CEIH-UV to respond, by any means, to requests or queries that may be addressed to it, using only those data that are strictly necessary and provided by the interested party.
Newsletter: subscription to the CEIH-UV news and events service, as well as the promotion of training activities and other services, with the prior consent of the data owners.
Realization and management of courses or activities, the CEIH-UV being legitimized based on legitimate interest.
Participation in scientific studies, with prior consent of the data owners.
Data Origin
The personal data collected comes directly from the interested parties and/or from those who have at some point participated in any of the CEIH-UV activities.
Recipients
Personal data will not be transferred or communicated to third parties, nor will transfers to third countries occur. If any research activity requires it, consent will be requested from the data owners.
Period of Retention of Personal Data
CEIH-UV will retain personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and provided that the interested parties do not revoke the consents granted.
Rights of Interested Persons
Interested persons may exercise the following rights:
Access personal data that may have been collected by CEIH-UV.
Request rectification or deletion of such data.
Request the limitation of your treatment, or to oppose the treatment.
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
File a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es).
