The C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Valencia, in collaboration with the CE\/R+S Club of Responsible and Sustainable Companies of the Valencian Community, is working on the evaluation of the sustainability performance rating system that will be incorporated into the Registry of Socially Responsible Valencian Companies. To this end, it has a panel of experts, made up of corporate social responsibility managers from several Valencian companies, who will contribute their perspective and experience in implementing CSR management systems.

Patatas L\u00e1zaro, Fundaci\u00f3n Novaterra, \u00c2NGELA IMPACT ECONOMY, El Corte Ingl\u00e9s, ethics, GDES, RNB and Simetr\u00eda Group have had access to the proposal for indicators and a simplified sustainability report that the Chair has presented to the General Directorate of Sustainable Economy of the Generalitat Valenciana so that it can be thoroughly validated by them before submitting it to the administration for processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, the system of indicators of the Registry of Socially Responsible Valencian Companies distributes its weight in the large areas that are worked on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Valencia works together with the public administration and the business sector to explore, analyze, and provide resources to companies so they can deploy a sustainable development model. In recent years, companies with more than 250 employees have become required to report on the performance of their sustainability policies. However, small companies, especially those with fewer than 50 employees, are not only not required to do so, but also find it an additional and often unaffordable cost to prepare sustainability reports. 

With the creation of this registry, companies will be able to register easily\u2014provided they meet the indicators\u2014and will be able to evaluate their sustainability performance and propose improvements in areas where they do not meet the necessary indicators. Furthermore, this registry is a starting point for small companies that have not yet begun to consider the need to work on their sustainable development, and it will also help large companies manage their suppliers worldwide.
 
In the coming weeks, the conclusions of the companies participating in the evaluation of the indicator system will be compiled and presented to the Valencian government. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
