{"id":630,"date":"2023-04-21T08:59:41","date_gmt":"2023-04-21T08:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/ctdr\/?p=630"},"modified":"2023-04-21T10:44:57","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T10:44:57","slug":"how-to-access-the-registry-of-socially-responsible-valencian-entities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/events\/how-to-access-the-registry-of-socially-responsible-valencian-entities\/","title":{"rendered":"How to access the Register of Socially Responsible Valencian Entities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Thursday, April 20, the free webinar was held <strong>&#039;How to access the Register of Socially Responsible Valencian Entities (REVSR)&#039;,<\/strong> Organized by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.camaravalencia.com\/es-ES\/Paginas\/Inicio.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valencia Chamber<\/a><\/strong> and which has had the support of the <strong>Chair of Business and Humanism<\/strong> of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Valencia<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eqa.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EQA<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.registradores.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College of Registrars of Spain.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was held with the aim of informing companies of all sizes about the requirements for accessing the Registry in a practical way and how it can provide value to them in meeting their financial and non-financial objectives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first to intervene was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/isabel-castillo-8a419522\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Isabel Castillo<\/a><\/strong>, from the Valencia Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Office, who has highlighted that <strong>&quot;Sustainability is an essential element for operating in the markets&quot;<\/strong> This is why the Registry will help companies to know where they are and what approach they can take to improve in order to generate a greater impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its part, <strong>Tomas Gonzalez Cruz, director of CEiH<\/strong>, during his turn, has explained in detail the Registry, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/sustainability\/the-generalitat-will-recognize-socially-responsible-valencian-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how to access it, who can benefit and the advantages of obtaining the certificate of Socially Responsible Valencian Entity.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&quot;The main challenge with this Registry is to achieve complete, neutral and comparable Social Responsibility reports, based on a system of common indicators for all entities regardless of their size,&quot; said the director of the Chair.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report also recommended that companies always complete the section related to additional voluntary compliance. This is a space for entities to qualitatively report the actions they carry out in the various dimensions of sustainability, and which awards an additional 10% score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&quot;The Registry (REVSR) places the Valencian Community at the forefront and its companies in a position of competitive advantage&quot;<\/p>\n<cite><strong>Carlos Balmisa, General Secretary of the College of Registrars of Spain<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The next turn was for <strong>Carlos Balmisa, General Secretary of the College of Registrars of Spain<\/strong>, who has highlighted that &quot;the Registry places the Valencian Community at the forefront and positions Valencian companies in a position of competitive advantage&quot; not only in Spain but throughout the European Union, since with the evolution and demands of the regulations, companies are being forced to accredit their sustainability management and the REVSR is a way of doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also stressed that for entities, the immediate benefit of being in the registry is formal publicity since any person or organization, public or private, can consult the annual accounts in the Commercial Registry, and they will be seen there. <strong>marginal note of the Valencian Socially Responsible Entity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mauro-colomina-soler-8a014059\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mauro Colomina,<\/a><\/strong> Corporate Social Responsibility Technician at EQA, an international certification, verification and inspection entity, has highlighted the importance of <strong>sustainability reports<\/strong> go through a verification or audit process since it is the way to prove compliance with the minimum standards required by the registry as well as international frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the aspects that the reports should contain, he commented that the important thing is that they are in line with recognized international standards.
