{"id":446,"date":"2023-01-04T10:38:54","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T10:38:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/ctdr\/?p=446"},"modified":"2023-01-05T09:55:41","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T09:55:41","slug":"incorporation-talks-the-relevance-of-social-responsibility-and-sustainability-rss-for-the-future-competitiveness-of-the-productive-fabric","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/the-chair\/incorporation-talks-the-relevance-of-social-responsibility-and-sustainability-rss-for-the-future-competitiveness-of-the-productive-fabric\/","title":{"rendered":"Onboarding talks: The relevance of Social Responsibility and Sustainability (SR+S) for the future competitiveness of the productive fabric"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout 2022, as part of the program of dissemination activities of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/\">C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of UV<\/a>, presentations have been made to students entering the different grades taught at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.es\/uvweb\/economia\/es\/facultad-economia-1285848977403.html\"><strong>UV Faculty of Economics<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the framework of the subjects of incorporation into undergraduate studies, for the second consecutive year, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/\">C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of UV<\/a>&nbsp;offers sessions in which new students are explained<strong>&nbsp;The relevance of Social Responsibility and Sustainability<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>RS+S)<\/strong>&nbsp;for the future competitiveness of the productive fabric of our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with a detailed explanation of the legal framework that regulates the&nbsp;<strong>RS+S<\/strong>, the strategic importance of the&nbsp;<strong>RS+S<\/strong>&nbsp;and is illustrated through the best practices currently carried out by some of the world&#039;s leading Spanish companies in their sector. Finally, the&nbsp;<strong>RS+S<\/strong>&nbsp;as a future career path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the context created by the legislation emanating from the EU, entities of any size and sector of activity will be forced to carry out processes of evaluation of their impact in terms of&nbsp;<strong>RS+S<\/strong>&nbsp;and develop action plans to reduce negative externalities and increase, as far as possible, positive ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consequently, entities must develop a new function, define policies and deploy practices and tools that require the participation of specialized and competent professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/\">C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of UV<\/a>&nbsp;We aim to encourage the interest of new students in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.es\/uvweb\/economia\/es\/facultad-economia-1285848977403.html\"><strong>UV Faculty of Economics<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to keep themselves educated and informed about everything that concerns the&nbsp;<strong>RS+S<\/strong>, the 2030 Agenda or the EU Green Deal.
