And all this, with the aim of helping social responsibility and sustainability become increasingly part of the day-to-day life of Valencian companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our activity,<em> funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cindi.gva.es\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Employment<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caixapopular.es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Popular Bank<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seidor.com\/es-es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEIDOR<\/a>, has turned<\/em> This year, around five fundamental programs that carried out different actions that have allowed the Chair to position itself as a benchmark in its mission to turn the challenges of sustainability and digital transformation into an opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Generation of knowledge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this program, a fundamental axis of the Chair, we carry out different actions among which the following can be highlighted: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Developing an accessible and universal sustainability reporting system<\/strong><br>We support the coordination and monitoring committee formed by the General Directorate of Transparency and the General Directorate of Sustainable Economy of the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Employment to develop a sustainability performance rating system that, within the framework of Law 18\/2018, is accessible to SMEs regardless of their sector of activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Study<\/strong> <strong>What do companies talk about in their social responsibility and sustainability reports?<\/strong><\/a><br>A study that examines the content of 50 corporate social responsibility reports published in 2020, from a dual perspective: the dimensions of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and the areas that allow us to understand a company&#039;s actions. <strong>This project received funding from the EBCORG\/2022\/2 project for the promotion of sustainable economy, worth \u20ac 5,000.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/events\/2nd-obset-awards-gala-sustainability-and-transparency-observatory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Support for the development of the OBSET Sustainability and Transparency Observatory<\/strong><br><\/a>This year, the Chair collaborated with the EGM Parc Tecnol\u00f2gic Paterna and Paterna Ciudad de Empresas in the presentation of the OBSET Web Platform and in the calibration of the bases for the OBSET awards, as well as being a jury for the selection of the winners of the second edition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>II Barometer of digital transformation in companies in the Valencian Community and Murcia &nbsp;<\/strong>This project has been developed in two phases. In the first, a study has been carried out to understand the perception of the different sectors and companies in the Valencian community, regarding digital transformation in several areas: Leadership, Strategy, Barriers, Degree of digital transformation, Technology provider, Digital and Big Data capabilities, Organizational culture; Impact on innovation and performance. The results will be published in 2023 in Notebook No. 13 under the title \u201c<strong>The importance of data orientation in management as a critical success factor in the digital transformation of the organization.\u201d<\/strong> <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong> <br>The second phase includes a study in collaboration with our patron <strong>SEIDOR<\/strong>, which seeks to: Analyze the state of the business fabric of the Valencian Community and Murcia regarding the use of digital technologies to boost their competitiveness; Identify the main technological trends by companies; Discover the most relevant challenges for companies in the region in the short and medium term. The field work will culminate in January 2023 for the presentation of results in February.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Training<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committed to the promotion and development of social responsibility and the sustainability of companies and their digital transformation,\u00a0<strong>the C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Valencia<\/strong>\u00a0has launched its first edition of training programs for 2023:<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/diploma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Diploma of Specialization in Social Responsibility and Sustainability (CSR)<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>course of<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/experto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University Expert in Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, we continue the line of action that we have been developing since 2017 with the cycles of training conferences aimed at the leaders of companies located in the territory in which we operate. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caixapopular.es\/es\">Popular Bank<\/a> provides its services. This year we have focused on the three axes that determine the immediate future of the competitiveness of companies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Digitalization<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Responsibility and Sustainability (SR+S) and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Building committed teams.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, the CEIH has participated in the <strong>Training Cycle in Sustainable Economy and Social Responsibility of the Valencian Company<\/strong> organized by the <strong>Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces FVMP.<\/strong> One of the objectives of this cycle was to provide training support and action and application capabilities for the implementation of the sustainable economy in the economic reality of our Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our commitment to the university community, two talks on Social Responsibility and Sustainability were given to students joining the UV in two groups of the Degree in Business Administration \u2013 Tourism. Awareness and Dissemination<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this exercise, the Chair set out to create a brand image in the Valencian Community as a benchmark for social responsibility and sustainability RS+S and digital transformation; in addition to clearly projecting the work being carried out by the General Directorate of Sustainable Economy of the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Employment through the Chair, and emphasizing the &#039;triple helix&#039; approach AAPP + Society + University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this regard, the following achievements can be highlighted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creation of a new website to communicate reports, studies, dialogues with companies and achieve the desired positioning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A content strategy for social networks, where our activity is focused on the Linkedin account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating the program<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/sustainable-dialogues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Sustainable Dialogues,<\/a><\/strong> series of interviews with leading companies in RS+S, to talk to their managers and provide the keys to the success of implementing RS+S in the day-to-day running of the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We create a community of RS+S managers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We give names and surnames to the Valencian RS+S.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We created a monthly newsletter with the most relevant information about the Chair. Today it is received by an audience of 500 subscribers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Publications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this 2022 the CEiH has published Notebook number 12, entitled <strong>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.catedradeempresayhumanismo.com\/en\/resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cWhat do companies talk about in their social responsibility and sustainability reports? An exploratory study through qualitative analysis of their content\u201d<\/a><\/strong> and the article <em><strong>\u201cConnecting human and information resources in the generation of competitive advantage\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, in the <strong>Review of Managerial Science <\/strong>(Q2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Networking<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022, the Chair also focused its efforts on the creation of networks and working alliances with different public and private entities, among which the following stand out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaboration agreement with the <strong>Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP)<\/strong>. Fifteen conferences and 45 hours of free training have been held as part of the CEiH&#039;s university social responsibility. <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration Agreement with <strong>Valencia Chamber<\/strong> referring to the Sustainability Portal \u201cSustainable Business\u201d, which aims to encourage and promote the creation of effective alliances in the public, public-private and civil society spheres, so that they jointly contribute to sustainable development. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration and\/or financing of activities carried out at the UV such as the XXI Faculty of Economics Employment and Entrepreneurship Forum, the XIV Ana M.
