A day to rethink leadership in the new business era<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Thursday, June 26, the C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Valencia<\/strong> and Popular Bank <\/em>held a key event in Alaqu\u00e0s to understand the challenges and transformations facing today's leadership. Under the title 'Leadership 3.0: People, Technologies, and Results,' the session was given by Jose Juan Agudo<\/strong>, expert in team management and business transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a context characterized by the emergence of artificial intelligence, generational diversity, remote work, and the growing demand for purpose among younger generations, the traditional leadership model is insufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the conference, Agudo offered an in-depth and up-to-date look at how leaders must evolve to adapt to a more complex and demanding environment. Some of the key points discussed included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are today's world leaders like? <\/strong>The day began with this question to explore the skills and attitudes needed in an environment where uncertainty is the new constant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The generational challenge: <\/strong>New generations not only question previous models, but also demand authenticity, consistency, and real values. Leading today means knowing how to connect with very different people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trust and security in uncertain times: <\/strong>In a scenario marked by job dissatisfaction, stress and exhaustion, Agudo stressed that "He who transmits security has the power"<\/em>. Trust thus becomes a key competency of today's leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology and leadership:<\/strong> How far can (or should) technology go in decision-making, communication, and team management? Technology can be an ally, but leadership remains, above all, a profoundly human endeavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, held at the headquarters of the Regional Group of Businessmen of Alaqu\u00e0s, <\/em>It brought together professionals from different sectors interested in updating their perspective on leadership and sharing experiences. The session concluded with a participatory discussion, where attendees posed questions about the role of leaders in environments of high turnover, automation, and widespread demotivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
