Last Wednesday, June 26, the C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Valencia held a very special event at the Faculty of Economics: the presentation of the book "Human Economy: Intuition, Leadership and Prosperity"<\/em>This work, the result of five years of work, promises to be a tool for reflection and change in the current socioeconomic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferran Caudet, the book's main author and CEO of Econom\u00eda Humana, shared his enthusiasm and dedication to the project with the attendees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

"We have been cooking this book for 5 years. For us it is a pleasure to feel that the book is coming to life. It is a book that in some way is a provocation. A provocation to reflection because another world is necessary. Each one of us has to do it with our decisions. We can build another world."<\/p>\nFerran Caudet.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

These words invited attendees to question the current state of society and explore new possibilities through their own decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One to reflect on today's society<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Paco \u00c1lvarez, a contributor to the book and former director of the Paris Stock Exchange, expressed his concern about the evolution of society and the injustices faced by young people in the current socioeconomic model:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

"There is one thing that has been worrying me for a long time: the evolution of society. Today, young people are faced with great injustices, and one of the things that has most affected these changes is the socioeconomic model in which we live."<\/p>\nPaco \u00c1lvarez<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1lvarez stressed the importance of disseminating the book to show that it is possible to change the unjust system in which we live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Mecca, entrepreneur and contributor to the book who also participated in the book launch discussion, emphasized the importance of individual contribution to creating a more cohesive and fair society:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Each of us must do our part to create a more cohesive and united society where we can all do well."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mecca also highlighted the challenge of writing in the first person, a process that requires reflection on how our stories can bring value to others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"One of the biggest difficulties with the book has been having to write in the first person. It's a moment when you have to stop and reflect and see how your story can add value to other people."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom\u00e1s Gonz\u00e1lez-Cruz, director of C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo and co-creator of Report For Good, expressed his pride and satisfaction at being part of this project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"It is a pleasure for us to be able to participate in this project and give voice to this change."<\/p>\nThomas Gonzalez-Cruz<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by Pedro Canales Ronda, Vice Dean of Quality, Accreditations and Planning of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia, who opened the day by highlighting the relevance of this type of initiatives for academia and society.
The book presentation "Human Economy: Intuition, Leadership and Prosperity" <\/em>It was an opportunity to reflect on the role of each person in building a better world and to recognize the work of those who work tirelessly to achieve it.
