On May 21st, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia<\/strong> hosted a meeting between representatives of the Chairs of Economy for the Common Good (EBC) and Business and Humanism (CEiH) of the University of Valencia and members of the Spanish Federation of Economy for the Common Good, to discuss issues of education and future collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting it was proposed that the University of Valencia and the Valencian Association for the Promotion of the Economy of the Common Good<\/strong> (AVEBC), to seek new sponsors. The importance of presenting proposals for content and activities to attract funding was stressed. The positive relationship with the Vice-Rectorate for Sustainability and the external projection of the C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In academic terms, the creation of postgraduate courses in collaboration with the Economy of the Common Good was supported, with a possible accreditation from the IF ECG. The CEIH presented the platform "Report for Good"<\/em> <\/a>to help SMEs with impact reporting, aligning with European regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaime G\u00fcemes and Tom\u00e1s Gonz\u00e1lez attended on behalf of the UV chairs, Chelo Cebri\u00e1n, president of the Valencian Association for the Promotion of the Economy of the Common Good, Luciana Cornaglia, President of EBC Argentina,<\/strong> Paco \u00c1lvarez, President of the Spanish Federation of the Economy of the Common Good, and Jos\u00e9 Carlos Ramos, from the EBC, academic at the Open University of Catalonia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The EBC offers a model of cultural and socioeconomic transformation," explained Luciana Cornaglia. On the other hand, Paco \u00c1lvarez reinforced this idea, "differentiating it from other certifications such as B Corp."
