The Chair of Business and Humanism at the University of Valencia participated in the latest edition of the "Ana Roca Mengual" awards, promoted by the Vice-Dean's Office for Participation, Volunteering and Equality, and developed by the CEiH, in collaboration with the Delegation for Incorporation into the University, the Chair of International Finance at Banco Santander and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vocational training and high school students from schools in Aldaia, Manises, Paterna, and Valencia participated in the competition, and positive evaluations were given for its innovation, viability, social commitment, environmental sensitivity, and public presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chair has awarded the DIVERSITOYS project, presented by Marta Serra Vicens, Victoria Greses Gim\u00e9nez, \u00c9inar Soler I Soler and Eric Sales Galindo, and directed by Silvia Aparisi Requena and Cristina Gas\u00f3 Ponce from the IES Ferrer y Guardia in Valencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The other three winning projects were: UBIMAX, presented by Iv\u00e1n Andreu Su\u00e1rez, Adolfo Manuel Salazar Dasilva and \u00c1ngela Jim\u00e9nez Espinosa, and directed by Javier Crespo F\u00e9lix from the IES La Ca\u00f1ada in Paterna, which won the award sponsored by the Faculty of Economics; AI ADVANCE PEST CONTROL, presented by Alba \u00c1lvarez Tormos, Stella Bayona Sede\u00f1o, Santiago Mart\u00ednez Lozano and Luisa Fernanda Robayo Julio, and directed by Emili Mar\u00edn Cerd\u00e1 from the CIPFP Vicente Blasco Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez in Valencia, which won the award sponsored by the Chair "International Finance - Banco de Santander" and PROTEG, presented by Noelia Ferrer M\u00ednguez, Mireia Ferrer y Pardo, Pau Soria Mayen and Luc\u00eda Tordera Requena, and directed by Miriam Lorente Jim\u00e9nez from the IES Enric Valor in Picanya, which won the award sponsored by the Faculty of Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The awards ceremony was presided over by Joaqu\u00edn Ald\u00e1s, Vice-Rector for Planning, Quality, and Information Technology; Francisco Mu\u00f1oz, Dean of the Faculty of Economics; Jos\u00e9 Constantino Garc\u00eda, Director of the "International Finance - Banco de Santander" Chair; and Deyanira S\u00e1nchez, representative of the C\u00e1tedra de Empresa y Humanismo. Also in attendance was Jos\u00e9 Miguel Lorente, Director of Regional Institutions at Banco Santander. All of them expressed their congratulations and gratitude to the participating students and faculty for leading projects once again this year, highlighting their entrepreneurial spirit, their commitment to social values, as well as the courage and academic rigor with which the finalists defended their business ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
